The new 2020 Ford Escape is puts forth a longer, wider, and lower body than the outgoing model and features a lower beltline that allows for larger windows and dramatically improved outward visibility. The plunging nose and sculpted sides are designed to accent your point of travel while the widemouthed grill lets them know you're coming. The 2020 Escape is notably lighter than before, thanks in part to the use of more high-strength steel in its structure, which helps provide a more comfortable ride and also increases on-road agility. The cabin on the 2020 Escape is designed for comfort and convenience with plenty of room and excellent materials. The available Bang & Olufsen 10-speaker sound system is a true delight, while the available panoramic sunroof provides fantastic views for all passengers. The available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster lets you configure the look and function of your driving information to your needs. Power & Performance

A turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder EcoBoost engine is standard in the all-new Escape S, SE, and SEL and makes an estimated 180 horsepower. Optional for SEL and Titanium trim, a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost engine that delivers an estimated 250 hp. Both engines use an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 3-cylinder powers the front wheels, while the 4-cylinder is paired exclusively with all-wheel drive. The AWD system is optional with the 3-cylinder engine. There's also a hybrid 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 engine and a plug-in version of the 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4. Towing capacity is admirable with the 2.0L offering up 3,500 lbs, the 1.5L can tow up to 2,00 lbs and the hybrid and Plug-in can each tow up to 1,500 lbs.

The 2020 Escape features selectable drive modes designed to help improve your driving experience and handling on varying road surfaces. The different modes are Eco, Sport, Normal, Slippery and Deep Snow/Sand. Once selected, each one of these driving modes can modify the electronic stability control system and traction control system without you having to do anything.


The 2020 Escape will keep everyone safe on the road thanks to a multitude of advanced safety features.
